I wanted to give you an update on Bob Rosenmyer's status and the status of the refund offer.
According to Swami's teammates Bob when home from the hospital on Monday Evening (9/14). More good news -- physically, Bob is out of the woods - no facial or hand surgery necessary, eye swelling is down, all vital signs are good (resting hart rate in the thirties, oxygenation rate 99 out of 100 - that's why he's so darn strong!) and he is healing very quickly.
I have had a few folks ask about the refund. I would like each racer to send me a request for a refund no later than Saturday 9/19. In the request either specify where you would like the refund to be mailed or if you would like a race voucher for 2010. The race voucher is a good deal since the refund is $25/racer, but the voucher is worth $30. Please do not send one request for the team. I need to hear from each racer.
